Curriculum
Designed solely by Shri Educators, our curriculum is a unique one, thoughtfully woven together with meticulous attention to developmental milestones. It is an optimum, integrated mix of Multiple Intelligence, Play Way and Montessori methodologies, augmenting experiential learning curve of every child. Activities like Wonder time, S.T.E.A.M., Circle Time, Planet Pals, and Essential Life Skills enhance our learners’ abilities to think out of the box, express themselves and develop positive self –esteem.
Individual Progress
Well-balanced activities and experiences enable every child to explore and express, thereby allowing their individual personalities to bloom and develop.
Socio-emotional Learning
At this early age when children are beginning to feel big emotions, the focus is to help them understand their emotions, regulate their feelings, build relationships and interact positively with their peers.
Communication Skills
Children learn to engage effectively with others by listening and being listened to. By articulating thoughts, learning vocabulary and pretend play, children imbibe pre-reading and pre-writing skills.
Critical Thinking
S.T.E.A.M. activities like sequencing, visual recognition, quantification and contrasting enable young learners to develop problem-solving abilities, reasoning and pre-math skills.
Values and Life Skills
The day-to-day activities centre around the Shri culture and core values of Integrity, Sensitivity, Pride in one’s Own Heritage and Pursuit of Excellence. Children are encouraged to inculcate inclusive mindsets by empowering them to work compassionately with children of different abilities and cultures. These help shape respect for people and environment and develop mindfulness and sensitivity in keeping with the Shri ethos.
Child Centric Learning
The focus remains on our children, and the aim is to enable our young learners to develop at their own pace.
Integrated and Hands-on Learning
Experiential learning comes alive through fun filled activities and sensorial play, through Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Physical Education and classroom activities. These are aptly augmented by child-friendly learning aids accessible to all children. There is also a balance between indoor and outdoor activities.
